These terms and conditions govern your use of the QM Designs website and our architectural drawing services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

QM Designs provides professional architectural drawing and planning permission services. We are based in Plaistow, London and serve clients across the United Kingdom.

2. Our Services

We provide architectural drawings including planning permission drawings, building regulation drawings, loft conversion designs, house extension plans, change of use applications, new build designs, and structural engineering calculations. All drawings are prepared to UK standards and are suitable for council submission.

3. Quotes and Pricing

• All quotes are provided free of charge and without obligation
• Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
• Prices are confirmed in writing before work begins
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the project scope changes significantly from the original brief

4. Project Process

• Work commences upon acceptance of our quote and receipt of any required deposit
• We will keep you informed of progress throughout the project
• You will have the opportunity to review and request reasonable amendments to drawings
• Typical turnaround times are provided as estimates and may vary based on project complexity

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your property and project requirements
• Grant reasonable access to the property for site surveys where required
• Respond to queries and review requests in a timely manner
• Obtain any necessary permissions from landlords or freeholders

6. Intellectual Property

All architectural drawings and designs remain the intellectual property of QM Designs until full payment is received. Upon full payment, you receive a licence to use the drawings for the specified project only.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Our drawings are prepared based on information provided by you and our professional assessment
• We do not guarantee planning permission approval, as this is at the discretion of the local planning authority
• Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided
• We are not liable for delays caused by third parties, including local authorities or structural engineers

8. Cancellation

• You may cancel your order at any time before work is completed
• If work has already commenced, you will be charged for work completed up to the point of cancellation
• Refunds for deposits will be considered on a case-by-case basis

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us at info@qmdesigns.co.uk. We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 working days.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
